What you pay for at checkout
When you buy a plan or an add-on, you are paying for your SellOrchard platform subscription: access to the SellOrchard e-commerce software for one store, billed monthly or yearly. That is the only thing sold at our checkout. Every checkout page and every invoice names the SellOrchard plan you are buying.
- Your payment is not a payment to another seller, a store, a developer, a partner or any other third party.
- No part of your checkout payment is paid out to third parties by our payment processor.
- Nothing you buy at our checkout is a payout, commission, reward or marketplace purchase.
Who processes subscription payments
SellOrchard subscriptions are sold by our online reseller Creem (creem.io), the Merchant of Record for all SellOrchard orders. Creem handles payment, invoices, sales tax and refunds for SellOrchard subscriptions. Creem is used only to process SellOrchard subscription billing (plans and add-ons for the SellOrchard software).
Payments that are handled separately
The following are not processed by Creem. Where they apply, they are paid independently through external third-party payment systems:
- Partner and agency commissions from the Partner Program, paid by bank transfer, Payoneer, PayPal or Wise.
- Referral and affiliate rewards.
- Developer commissions and marketplace payouts, such as payments to developers of themes or apps.
These payments are made by SellOrchard. They are never collected from, or paid out of, a customer's checkout payment.
Your store's own sales
Money your customers pay in your SellOrchard store goes through the payment gateway you connect, such as Stripe, PayPal or Square, under your own account with that provider. SellOrchard and Creem are not the seller of your products, do not process your store's sales and do not hold your store's money.
