SellOrchard

Beauty & wellness

Refills, treatments and regulars under one roof

A beauty brand lives on the second, fifth and twentieth order. Put refills on a schedule, let clients book a treatment in the same store, and reward the ones who keep coming back.

  • Refill subscriptions
  • Treatment bookings
  • Shade cards
  • Photo reviews
  • Points & referrals

What gets in the way

Loyal customers, scattered across too many tools

  • Refills run out quietly

A customer finishes her serum, forgets to reorder and buys whatever’s at the chemist.

  • Treatments booked in DMs

Appointments live in a messaging app, deposits in a bank transfer, and no one knows who’s free on Thursday.

  • Shades hide inside one product

Eight shades under one listing means shoppers see one swatch and scroll on.

  • No reason to come back

Without points or a referral offer, a happy customer has no nudge to return or tell a friend.

How SellOrchard helps

Five separate tools for a ritual-driven brand

One feature per block — each links to its full page.

Subscriptions

Refills on the customer’s schedule

Offer subscribe-and-save on refills with the intervals that match how long a product lasts.

  • Intervals in weeks or months — every 6 weeks is as easy as monthly
  • Customers swap a variant (a new shade or scent) for the next refill
  • Skip, pause or change the date from their account, within the rules you set
  • Automatic retries and reminders when a renewal payment fails

Bookings

Treatments clients can book themselves

Sell facials, brow shaping or consultations as bookable services with staff calendars.

  • Durations per option (30 or 60 minutes) and buffers for room turnaround
  • Clients pick a staff member or “Any available”
  • Intake questions before the appointment, using custom fields
  • Deposits as a percentage or fixed amount; reminders by email or SMS

Split variants

Part of Products & inventory

Every shade gets its own card

Split a product by its Shade option and listings show one card per shade with that shade’s image.

  • One product to manage, many shade cards in collections and search
  • Each card opens the product page with the shade selected
  • Variant images so the swatch matches the shade

Product reviews

Reviews with real swatches

Photo reviews and verified-buyer badges help shoppers judge a shade on someone else’s skin tone.

  • Up to four photos per review
  • Automatic review requests after delivery
  • Moderation queue, or auto-publish for verified buyers

Loyalty & referrals

Points, tiers and a friend’s first discount

Run a rewards programme from the same admin as your orders.

  • Points per $1 spent, plus bonuses for sign-up, reviews, photo reviews and birthdays
  • VIP tiers with a points multiplier and optional free shipping
  • Referral links: the friend gets a discount, the referrer gets points, credit or a code
  • Redeem at checkout as fixed rewards or a flexible slider

Recommended setup

An editorial theme and the plan that books and renews

Chosen for a brand that sells both products and time.

Recommended theme

Atelier

Atelier’s editorial serif type and generous imagery suit product-led beauty brands. If treatments are the main business, Studio — the services theme with a booking form — is the better start.

  • Editorial layouts for product stories
  • Mega menu for skincare, make-up and body ranges
  • Switch to Studio if bookings come first

Recommended plan

Pro

$79/ month

Refill subscriptions and treatment bookings both need Pro or Advanced; Pro covers both with room for a small team.

Why this plan

  • Subscriptions
  • Bookings & appointments
  • 10 staff accounts
  • 1,000 AI credits a month for product copy

Advanced ($199/month) suits multi-site studios: 20 locations and 50 staff accounts.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can subscribers change shade or scent?

Yes, if you allow it. In their account, subscribers can swap a variant, change quantity, skip, pause, change the date or frequency, and cancel — each action can be switched on or off in your subscription settings.

Can I take a deposit for treatments?

Yes. Set a percentage or fixed deposit on the booking service; the rest is paid at the appointment and recorded at the till or manually.

Can I ask clients questions before a treatment?

Yes. Booking services use intake fields — the same field types as custom product fields — and answers appear on the booking.

Will AI-written product descriptions make claims about my products?

SellOrchard’s AI tools are instructed not to invent facts such as ingredients, certifications or health claims, and nothing is saved until you accept it. You remain responsible for your product wording and your local cosmetics rules.
