Connecting a domain
From "I bought a domain" to "it's live"
Bought your domain from GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare or anywhere else? Keep it there — you only change its DNS.
Step 1: Type the domain
Just the name, such as juniperandmoss.com. Tick "Also connect www" so visitors who type www. land in the same place.
Step 2: Add the records shown
Settings → Domains lists the exact DNS records to create, with a note for providers that show the name "@" differently and for Cloudflare's "DNS only" setting.
Step 3: Check, or walk away
Press Check now when you're done. Changes usually show up within an hour but can take 24–48 hours, and SellOrchard keeps checking for 3 days.
Step 4: Make it your main address
Once it says Connected and the certificate is ready, make it the main address shoppers see.
Always reachable
A free address that never stops working
Every store gets its own address on mysellorchard.com from the start, so you can share and test your store before you own a domain. When you connect a custom domain it becomes the main address — and if you ever remove it, the free address takes over again.

Do I need to buy a domain to start?
No. Every store gets a free address on mysellorchard.com that works from day one. You can connect your own domain whenever you're ready on a paid plan.
Can I buy a domain through SellOrchard?
Not at the moment. Buy it from any domain provider — GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare and so on — and connect it in Settings → Domains.
Is SSL really free?
Yes. A certificate is issued automatically when your domain connects, at no extra cost, and your store is served over HTTPS.
How long does connecting a domain take?
DNS changes usually show up within an hour but can take 24–48 hours. SellOrchard checks automatically for 3 days, so you can add the records and come back later.
Can I connect a domain during the free trial?
Custom domains are available on paid plans. During the trial your store runs on its free mysellorchard.com address.
Can I run more than one store?
Yes. One account can own several stores, each with its own plan, domain, team and settings.
