The admin works as an app on phones, tablets and computers — no app store needed.
- Install the app: on Android and desktop Chrome/Edge use the Install the app card (or the browser's Install button). On iPhone/iPad open the admin in Safari, tap Share → Add to Home Screen. The card also lives in your account settings. On a partner's admin domain the app uses the partner's name and icon.
- Notifications & devices (account menu → Notifications & devices,
/account/notifications— outside the store admin): tap Enable push on this device and allow notifications when the browser asks. On iPhone/iPad push only works after adding the admin to the Home Screen (iOS 16.4 or later) and opening it from there. Send test notification checks it works ("Notifications are working"). The device list shows every phone/browser that gets your notifications; Remove one you no longer use. Devices that stop accepting notifications are removed automatically. - What you're notified about (on/off per event, for all stores or one store): New orders (on), Order paid (off), High-value orders (off — orders at or above your amount, shown instead of the plain new-order alert), Low stock (on — a variant reaches its low-stock level or sells out), New reviews (on), Return requests (on), New bookings (on), Support chat replies from SellOrchard (on), Partner payouts (partners, on), Platform incidents from the status page (off).
- Staff only get notifications for the parts of the store they can open (Orders for orders and returns, Products for stock and reviews, Bookings for bookings — see "Staff permissions").
- Quiet hours (start, end, time zone): no push during those hours; everything still appears in the bell.
- The bell (top bar): Activity lists your notifications (tap one to open it; Mark all as read); Announcements shows news from SellOrchard.
- Offline: the app shows "You're offline — your data will appear when you reconnect"; when a new version is ready a message offers to reload.
